The company plans to produce around 220,000 vehicles this year. The daily average production for the first half of 2008 was almost 850 cars and the average efficiency represented 95.6%. In April, the company produced 19,300 vehicles which has been the average highest monthly production so far. Our company exports its cars to all European countries. Russia represents the biggest market with 18,260 distributed cars followed by Great Britain with 8,429 distributed vehicles. The third place belongs to Germany, the fourth to Poland and the fifth to France. During the first six months of the year, 1,439 Kia cee´d cars were sold in Slovakia which means more than 41.1% year-on-year increase. The most requested model among Slovak customers was the five-door hatchback. The sales of Kia Sportage increased by 185.4% year-on-year, representing 391 sold units during the first six months of this year.
In the first half of 2008, sporty wagon cee´d_sw was the most demanded body version with 35.84% market share followed by the five-door hatchback (30.74%), Kia Sportage (16.76%) and the three-door
sporty pro_cee´d (16.66%). The most popular engine was the diesel 1.6L engine representing 41.8% of all sales and the most preferable colour was Black Pearl. The European customers of Kia brand
order cars with our plant mainly in middle trim level which represents 55% of the whole production.
