Corporate information is the most valuable asset. Therefore in 2013, our company implemented the Security Management System according to the ISO 27001 standard that specifies the requirements for establishing the system of an information security management. Information assets contain necessary information for realization of business activities, or they are tools for using other assets.
The required level of information security in Kia Slovakia was certified by one of the world leading certification companies – DNV GL and based on the audit results our company was issued the certificate according to ISO/IEC 27001:2013 as the first carmaker on the Slovak market. Companies with such certificate can prove their ability to consistently implement security measures, which protect the company’s information assets and provide assurance for their business partners.
