Kia attracted drivers and fans with its perfect workshop alteration and mainly with the quality of used parts such as shock Proflex absorbers, AP Racing brakes, an air filter Sprintfilter and a survival kit OMP.
The car was modified in Slovakia and the whole process took twelve months. Special parts as well as the driver’s outfit were provided by Autotechna Baranek s.r.o. The engine power is 200 hp and the
torque is 400 Nm. These parameters along with the vehicle chassis give a high chance to win the Slovak Championship in category of cars with combustion engine. This vehicle is unique due to the
fact that it is the first Kia cee’d adjusted for uphill racing not only in Slovakia, but also in Europe.
The racer Jaroslav Baranek from Autotechna Racing Team will join all uphill races with this car numbered 77 which is symbolic regarding the unique 7-year warranty that this model comes with. The
nearest race will be the European Championship in Pezinska Baba on July 19 and 20. Further races for the season 2008 are in Jankov Vrsok on August 2 and 3, in Ostra Luka Zvolen on August 13 and 14,
in Cierny Balog on August 16 and 17, and the season will finish in Jankov Vrsok on September 27 and 28.
