The President of the Slovak Republic Ivan Gasparovic visited Kia Motors Slovakia plant nearby the City of Zilina on December 13. One week after the production launch ceremony was held, the Slovak President had a chance to familiarize himself with production process of the all-new cee’d model that is distributed from the Slovak plant to all European countries.
During his visit to Kia Motors Slovakia, Ivan Gasparovic met with the company management and employees, and emphasized the importance of Kia’s investment for the economic development in Slovakia. He is pleased that this plant has been built in the region which had high unemployment rate and due to Kia’s investment the unemployment has been decreased. After the plant tour Ivan Gasparovic stated that this production facility is one of the most modern ones in the world.
On the proving ground, the Slovak President tested the new cee’d on his own. After test driving he said that the car has very good chassis, good tyres and brakes too, which is the keystone to satisfying each customer. The President is convinced that the new model will take one of the leading positions in the market and belongs to top-of-the-range products.
