The third model in the cee’d line-up revealed at the Paris Motors Show will be the pro_cee’d concept car, which is based on the forthcoming three-door ‘sporty hatch’ version of the all-new Kia cee’d.
Whereas the five-door version is a great handling family car, this version of cee’d will be targeting younger drivers in search of a more overtly sporty look to go with the sporty drive. The production launch of the three-door sporty hatchback is scheduled for December 2007.
The introduction of cee’d family (five-door, ‘sporty wagon’ and three-door ‘sporty hatch’) marks a major turning point in Kia’s history. They are the first-ever Kia models designed and manufactured in Europe, and will introduce a qualitative revolution for the brand.
