Kia Motors Slovakia is opening recruitment process for more than 50 new employees in these days. Intended launch of the three-shift operation of engine production is the reason. The plant is currentl y recording an increased number of orders rolling off production lines. The recruitment process will be completed when all positions will be filled. Work positions will be created especially in the production and will be suitable mainly for candicates with technical background and work experience.
“I am very glad that we are successful in engine as well as car production. As the result of higher demand for engines manufactured in our plant, we will hire up to 50 new employees, which will contribute to the employment increase in the Zilina region,“ said Eek-Hee Lee, President and CEO of Kia Motors Slovakia.
New work positions will be created in the Engine shop. Candidates will be employed on the positions such as operator for cutting lines operation, employee for quality management and production management team. Kia is looking for operators focused on engine production and assembly process. All newcomers will attend a one-week long entry course and later also an extended training specialized on concrete work position. Its length will depend on employee’s work categorization.
