Kia Motors Slovakia will increase as of February 2011 basic salaries of its employees by 4.25% on average. Company guarantees an increase for every profession by at least 3%, whereby salaries of operators’ professions who work in production of cars and engines will be increased even more. The collective agreement was signed with representatives of employees for 4 years period and it also involves increase of creation of the Social fund and introduction of new benefits such as contribution to vacations of employees and their family members and summer camps for children. The average salary of operators who worked in Kia throughout the whole year 2010 reached EUR 1,040.

In addition to the increase of basic salaries, Kia will also increase basic salaries individually to its employees throughout the year based on internal regulations. Average salaries of Kia employees will also grow thanks to the increase of allowances and other variable parts of the salary. Kia will continue to provide for its employees direct bus transportation to work from Zilina region. Employees can utilize discount for purchase of cars and mortgage support for selected employees. Every year Kia also rewards best employees who can get a one time reward from 1,000 to 1,500 euro as special appreciation of their excellent results.
