The three-door pro_cee’d in red colour, 2.0-litre gasoline engine with an automatic transmission and EX version was dispatched to a customer in Ukraine.
Kia Motors Slovakia has managed to accomplish its production plan for the first quarter. In January we produced 18,006, in February 18,201 and in March 16,506 cars. The estate version cee’d_sw composed the largest share of 35% of total production in 2008. The most popular colour was the Black Pearl and the most favourite engine was the diesel 1.6-litre engine which comprised 47% of all orders. In the first three months of 2008, Germany became the biggest market for Kia cee’d, where Kia Motors Slovakia dispatched 9% of all of its produced cars.
“The successful continuation of the production is a result of an effort of all employees of our company. I am very glad that thanks to that we can reach a high level of quality and can provide a unique 7-year warranty to our customers on both models produced at our plant. Our main goal for this year is to increase the efficiency of the production process while we are planning to produce 225,000 cars,” said In-Kyu Bae, President and CEO Kia Motors Slovakia.
