Kia cee’d with 2.0-litre diesel engine joined 13 races in 2008 and in six races the car came first. The overall success of the newly built car was due to the perfect car body construction, driver’s experience, high quality service team as well as the presence in all up-hill races. Kia cee’d was modified with the aim to win over all competitive vehicles which was proved by the results. Jaroslav Baranek is very proud about his title: “We managed to win with the car produced and modified in the Slovak Republic. I am very pleased that it was Kia cee’d and that we were able to win the Slovak championship with it.”
