The students from Kysucke Nove Mesto, Martin and Dolny Kubin worked more than 14,000 hours during eight months in engine and assembly shops. Our company contributes to the education improvement and future specialists’ training for automotive industry.
“Building of Kia plant has been a big asset for machinery industry in our region. As representatives of technical schools we see the increase of students’ interest in machinery fields which is very positive for our schools,” said Jozef Zanovit, the Principal of Secondary Combined School in Martin.
"I consider my experience at Kia Motors Slovakia positively with high appreciation. During my vocational practice I gained a lot of information and mainly new working experience. I had the opportunity to observe the most modern technological processes and to see the actual car production. The vocational practice directly at the plant is more convenient than the practice in school workshops,” says Stefan Fojtik, a student of Secondary Vocational School in Kysucke Nove Mesto.
“Thanks to the growing automotive industry, our region requires high level specialists in this field. Vocational practice at our plant, which is one of the most modern in the world, is the
beginning of professional and successful career in students’ lives,” claims Jan Taliga, Senior Manager of Assembly.
