On December 2 - 4, 2005 the Davis Cup World Group finals took place at the National Tennis Centre in Bratislava. Slovakia and Croatia qualified to the finals. After dramatic sets, Croatia finally defeated Slovakia 3-2.
Kia Motors is one of the official partners of the Davis Cup. At this event, spectators to the finals could also see the exhibition of Kia cars or get additional information at the Kia promotion stand. This important sports event was also attended by the President of Kia Motors Europe Mr. Kyung-Soo Lee and the Vice-President Jea n-Charles Lievens. Kia Motors Slovakia also came to cheer for the Slovak team. It was represented by the top management and employees of the company.
