On Wednesday, November 28, 2007, the representatives of the prominent motorist organisation Autobest visited our company. Autobest is the second biggest independent European motoring jury. Since 2002, the organization has been giving away prestige awards.
The Autobest Jury represents 15 important growing and developing markets from Central and Eastern Europe, covering a potential market of more than 300 million inhabitants. Besides Slovakia, countries including Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Greece, Hungary, Macedonia, Poland, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovenia, Turkey and Ukraine all belong here.
The 15-member jury has 240 points, which they divide between 13 categories: interior, exterior, handling, dynamics, comfort, technology, universatility, safety, fuel consumption, environmental friendliness, spare parts, distribution network and price.
Fiat Linea was voted “Autobest 2008”, Kia cee’d came second and Mazda 2 came third. Kia has received the highest accolade in the Autobest history in 2006, when Kia Rio won the first place.
